Birding for our Caws
Executive Director Brian Zinke and Madelyn Voelker are new to Pilchuck Audubon’s Birdathon but are hoping to make a splash in this year’s competition!
Exploring Egtvedts
Hilkka and Claire Egtvedts have participated in Birdathon for many years, often driving more than 2,000 miles during May within Washington, searching for birds. May has been their favorite birding month because of Birdathon, but realize this year will be different.
Winging It
Mike and Mandy started birding in 2019 and it has quickly become their favorite hobby. Mike keeps count of the birds and Mandy takes the photos and posts them to Instagram (@MandyWeger). They're excited to participate in their first Birdathon this year!
Team Nature Together
Always looking for adventure, the Nature Together family is taking on Birdathon this year! These young naturalists will use their finely-tuned senses of sight and sound to detect their backyard visitors!
Bird Dawgs
Eagle Eyed
Peggy Mundy (team Eagle Eyed) is joining Birdathon for the first time. Peggy is a birder and photographer, and a new member of Pilchuck Audubon. Check out Peggy's instagram (@scenebypeggy).
Counting Crows
Team members Douglas Resnick, Lisa Weber, Jonathan Blubaugh, Terry Nightingale, Sue Nightingale, and Judy Hall originally met during PAS outings and a Christmas Bird Count. We've combined our birding efforts for several Birdathons in the past. We're looking forward to finding birds and raising funds again in 2020!
