Join us for the Christmas Bird Count!

Edmonds CBC — December 19

Everett/Marysville CBC — January 2

Join Pilchuck Audubon for one of birding’s longest-running community science traditions! The Edmonds CBC and the Everett/Marysville CBC bring volunteers together to count birds and contribute valuable data on winter bird populations. Whether you’re an experienced birder or a beginner, there are opportunities to participate. Help us track our local birds and contribute to conservation science!

Interested in participating? Learn more and find out how to get involved →

Did You Know?

Both of our CBCs rank in the top 30 world-wide in terms of participation out of more than 2,600 CBCs!

In 2025, we set participation records for both counts with 207 birders on the Edmonds CBC and 179 birders on the Everett/Marysville CBC.

TAKE ACTION

Shop the Audubon Certified Bird-friendly Seal

The Audubon Conservation Ranching Program partners with farmers and ranchers to reverse grassland bird declines. Consumers can support these efforts by choosing beef and bison products bearing the Audubon Certified Bird-Friendly seal, which identifies products sourced from lands managed to support birds and biodiversity.
