Birding: Port Townsend

Photo: Rhinoceros Auklet by Mick Thompson

We'll travel by ferry to Port Townsend via the Edmonds-Kingston ferry and explore the many habitats of Port Townsend, including wetlands, woodlands, and the Salish Sea.  Expect a good variety of birds and a good day out.  This will be an all day trip so bring a lunch/water/snacks.

We'll meet in the parking lot of the Edmonds Driftwood Players, but please park alongside of Main St., not in their parking lot itself.  We'll aim for the 7:10am ferry.

Drivers should bring a Discover Pass, passengers should bring money for gas contribution and ferry fare.

After you have submitted your 2025 Liability Release form, please contact the trip leader in order to register for the trip.
