Birding: Fir Island & Skagit Flats

  • 8924 Quil Ceda Boulevard Marysville, Washington, 98271 United States (map)

Meet at 7:30 AM at the Quil Ceda Village Walmart lot west of Marysville (I-5 exit 200). Park away from the store, to the east, toward I-5. Please come prepared to carpool – the number of cars impacts where we are able to stop for birding, as well as safety and the environment. August is prime time for southbound shorebird migration and favorable tides are predicted for this date, so we’ll take advantage and again focus on shorebird hot spots on Fir Island and Skagit Flats. Dress for the weather and pack a lunch.
